Let's start with a story...
It all started back in 1995 with a guy named Steve.
At just 29 years old, he was full of ambition and big dreams. By day, he was out on the job sites, running excavators, and by night, he’d sit at his small desk in the corner of the house, balancing the books. With six kids running around, you can just imagine the scene—little feet racing through the halls, and the house always full of energy. The little ones were often asking for rides on the excavators or peering over Steve’s shoulder at the computer and the papers strewn about.
Those were the early days-
Long hours, a lot of hard work, but also plenty of love and laughter.
Fast forward 30 years, and Pacific Star Excavating is still family-owned, but we’ve grown and expanded. We’ve built a new office in Vancouver, and our team has grown with new equipment to match.
But one thing hasn't changed:
We’re still that same close-knit, hardworking family business. Even as we’ve expanded, the culture that made us successful has stayed strong.
Being family-owned gives us the flexibility to prioritize people over profits and allows us to stay grounded in our values. It’s this personal touch that sets us apart from the larger companies, and it’s what makes PSX truly special.
